Do disability permit holders have to pay a meter if they park at one?
Yes. Meters are placed in areas with a high demand for short-term parking. To help facilitate turnover, any vehicle parked there, regardless of permit type, must pay the posted meter fee. State law provides individuals with disability parking extra time to conduct business and this extra time is recognized by T&P.
