Where can visitors park on campus?
Visitors and guests of the University are required to purchase a visitor parking permit unless they park at a meter or in a visitor garage. All hourly fees must be paid. For a map of visitor parking or a visitor parking permit application, please click on the links below.
Single and Multi-day Parking
Single-day and multi-day parking permits may be purchased by anyone who needs to park at the University. Single and multi-day permits are valid on surface lots only and to the area designated on permit. Garage permits (i.e. Tokenotes) are valid in specific facilities only and are not honored during special events or on surface lots. Single and multi-day surface or garage parking permits may be purchased at 160 Bevis Hall, 1080 Carmack Road, open from 7:30am-7:30pm M-F, Sat. 12pm-5pm.
Overnight Parking
Overnight parking for OSU visitors staying in the dormitories is permitted in the Arps and Ohio Union garages for a maximum of 24 hours per visit. Regular fees must be paid. For visits longer than 24 hours, visitors need to purchase the multi-day visitor permit. Parking privileges are based on the parking designation (rank) of the student they are visiting. You can purchase a visitor parking permit at 160 Bevis Hall, 1080 Carmack Road, open from 7:30am-7:30pm M-F, Sat. 12pm-5pm.
Medical Center Parking
Patients and visitors to the OSU Medical Center may park in the Hospitals Visitors Garage or at parking meters. Hospitals Garage is designated for patient and visitor parking only. Long-term parking permits (5 or more days) are available for purchase at the Rhodes Hall Lobby Information desk. For more information about long-term Medical Center parking permits, please contact the Medical Center Customer Service office at 614-293-4639.
